Where to Start...in the middle... I guess
I have started this blog several times...never felt right somehow...still scared to push the publish button...my daughter blogs...my daughter-in-law blogs...but where do I start...I just feel in the middle my life has always been about my family and now for the first time I find me needing myself more than my kids need me. I still find myself cooking for six instead of two... I say two because I really do not eat my meals... scary I know but after you cook it and serve it you have picked enough in it not to want it anymore. Since our boys have all left the nest our cooking has changed a lot our daughter Michelle does a lot of our cooking and she is very healthy and weight wise in all she does and that helps both Alan and I. Tonight is Sunday night so both she and I will sit down and plan the meals for the week at least up till the weekend, Alan usually BBQ's or smokes out if the weather is good and we cook the sides...works out very well for all. I will post our weeks meal plan ...you may just get some ideas to help your week run smoother. Last week was spring break here so I did not have my granddaughter, she got to have a great week with her mom...I was lucky enough to see her about every other day which was great and give her two fun bubble baths...we have a large old cast iron tub upstairs and she loves it...it is so much fun to be with her. Tomorrow we will be back on schedule...which is always subject to change.....
