Long Time

It has been a long time since I have taken the time to blog...I just have not made the time...just not ready to put my blog out there...but today is a new day...so here is my update...first off i do not like cap letters so out with those and i am a ... person...lets start with spring we decided to put our house on the market and downsize..to a one story before we get old and our kids are forced to do it for us...we love our home but we decided to test the market ...a lot of lookers for sure...but money is tight..so not much selling...and then we will go to june 26 a beautiful sunny afternoon i was home alone when my next door neighbor was killed and her husband of 30 years has been charged with the murder..that day changed my life forever and the way i live...i WILL not talk about that day for many reasons...what happened will stay in my heart and i guess a court of law if that time shall come...i miss my neighbors very much and i always knew he kept an eye out on my home and my daughter...miss his stories...him always waiting for the mail..our neighborhood will never be the same but neither will i :( we decided to pull our house off the market for a while...too many people were very curious..we the decided to replace our central heat and air...insulate our entire home and put a vent-pac on...that was a 3 week process that i hope will pay off...we then let our realtor put our house back on the market...we just could not find anything we liked and some how i just did not like stangers being in our home...one group even tried on michelle's shoes...i guess over 50 pairs on a shoe rack could tempt anyone...and she freaked out ..so the decision was made this is our home and we are staying here in an upcoming blog i will tell you why we love our home...journey my granddaughter turned 3 this month and is still the the light of our lives...aunt mimi's morsels has slowed down a little since the close of farmer's market this summer, this is my daughter michelle's bakery business...she will be opening her online sales page soon...i will try and blog a couple of times a day and will include meal planning , easy menu's, decorating ideas, couponing and other money saving ideas...today i am excited i have wanted to name our home...which was easy to come up with WOODSTONE MANOR...our home was built about 1900 by the woods family, they owned woods lumber company...then by the stones, they lived here for 47 years...today alan is making a sign to put out in front...this is our forever home...tonight's dinner is salad, pork loin, sweet potatoes, broccoli and carrots followed by an aunt mimi's apple crisp..enjoy your day
