They say it was a little over fifty today ...but with this wind how could you tell...it was just down right cold...i helped michelle a little today as she took down the fall outside...and we put up christmas outside...we kept it very simple...when it is not so windy i will get some pictures...
michelle was very busy today doing several odds and ends...alan was busy in his workshop working on a retro hutch..it may have been a tv stand from the 50's...he is flipping it into a hutch...should be cool when he is done...will keep you posted...i never stopped all day ...but i really can not tell you what i did do...we still have lots of leftovers...i need to give them away or freeze them...we just do not use a lot of leftovers...i have not seen journey all day that is unusual in a way...she must be busy with mommy today...
on thanksgiving as we were all getting ready to eat...journey told her aunt mimi (michelle) that she was beautiful...i thought that was such a sweet thing for her to say right out of the clear blue sky...i said to journey well you are beautiful too...to that she looked at me and said "no biggie"...all weekend i have thought of that and laughed...where did that come from...what kids will say...i love it ...kids are so honest...i know sometimes that can be scary...but you got to love it...
i am pretty much done with all of our christmas shopping...i need to pick up a few stocking stuffers but that is all...i have a few things i ordered over the weekend to arrive and have wrapped...but i am done...with michelle's birthday being the 23 of dec. ... i just need to get her 2 o 3 more things and i am done with her birthday...i will add she is the BEST christmas present that i ever got...enjoy your evening...i am off to take a bath and get ready for bed :)
